Koi fish are part of the Cyprinide species, their exact name is Koi carp. They originate from a land found between Eastern Asia, the Aral Lake, the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. Originally they were called “nishiki-goi” and later adopted the name of Koi fish.
Tetra fish are also known as Black Tetra or “the widow”. They are a tall, flat species that have a round anal wing all the way along the lower side of their body. The back side of the fish is not covered in scales.
